Nightmare Before Christmas Carousel Pie

A new pie invention for you today: introducing the "Pie Carousel"! I created this new type of Piescraper to pay homage to my favourite Hallowe'en movie of all time, The Nightmare Before Christmas. The carousel features a lower pecan pie, hidden top pumpkin pie, and panels of edible pastry attached with candy melts and candy sticks. Oogie Boogie, Lock, Shock, and Barrel are going for a ride along with Jack and Zero (and that creepy little duck thing.)
It took a while to pull this one off - two base pies plus four baking sheets of pastry components are a bit time consuming to create and assemble - but it was as delicious as it was delightful as a centerpiece during our meal and communal nomming dish afterwards.
